Couriers charge based on whichever is greater: actual dead weight or volumetric dimensional weight. Lightweight bulky items incur volumetric charges.
💡 Realistic Indian E-Commerce Example
Box dimensions 30cm × 20cm × 15cm with actual weight 0.8kg. Volumetric weight at 5000 divisor = (30×20×15)/5000 = 1.8 kg. Chargeable weight is 1.8 kg!
